The Resonant Lung is a pipe organ sound chamber built into a shipping container. Each performer will present compositions that integrate the pipes into their creative context.
Due to very limited seating in The Lung, the evening will consist of two separate shows, each featuring all four performers. There is an Early Show from 6-8pm and the Late Show is 9-11pm.
Modesty will be our guest from San Diego, preparing tapestries of sound with the organ pipes, vocal layering, and synthesis
Dieter Geisler will be debuting his first interactions with the Lung, with his illustrious track record of compositions in tow
T Putnam Hill is one of our local stalwarts, steadily working with new integrations of the organ pipes with synthesis, oversampling, and passive guitar feedback
Iris Sidikman will be making her first appearance since her Lung debut during NMASS this year, this time as Our Lady. We were quite taken with her bold combination of wide rich chords keyed on the organ pipes with poetic vocal
